Every first is so exciting and so much fun to take pictures of and experience!
This is Mason‘s first trip to the grocery store. Yes, I know it has been 8 and a half months and I have not been to the market. It has always seemed like such a hard place to take a baby – the germs, the people, and before he was big enough to sit, pushing the stroller and cart at once… all just a big task.
We had so much fun and Mason loved it!! Things that would never seem like they would be meaningful or exciting have a whole new meaning when I experience them all over again for the first time with Mason. What are some of your favorite “firsts”?

Hi Kourtney, my baby Ruby is 4 months old and she is talking heaps now and she rolled over for the first time and today she fell asleep in the lounge playing with her toys, soooo cute! I love my baby and hearing other mothers enjoying their babies is so heartwarming. You are so fortunate to have sisters to dote on him as well, I dont have that my siblings are all much younger than me. I have photots of my beautiful kids on my facebook website and I love to show them off! xxxxx

My favorite moment (one of them at least) was when we first brought our daughter to the beach, she was just learning to walk and put one foot in front of the other, but when she felt the sand in her little chubby toes, it was SO CUTE! =)

Mason looks so cute! He’s so big now. Question are u still breastfeeding Mason? How long do you plan on nursing. My daughter Elise is going to be 1 year old on the 7 of september. I’m still nursing her. People tell me i should stop already, but going to hold out till she’s 14 months. I was thinking that maybe you would think of opening a dash store here in San Diego. I hope everything is working out with you in your relationship with Scott. Stay strong. Enjoy every laugh,hug,smile,giggle with Mason time goes by so fast. I miss my Elise’s small baby stage. Now she non-stop a hand full at times, but I love her so much. It’s weird since my kids were born its just been all about them. ( I also have a 6 year old son from previous relationship). Kourtney, you know the pray we grew up on at bedtime, Now I lay me down to sleep? Well, I always felt that was so scarey for my little ones, so I changed it! It goes like this, Now I lay me down to sleep, pray the Lord my soul to keep. Lord be with me through the night, and wake me with the morning sun light. Hope you can use it for Mason. My daughter Jovanna says she will use it on her kids when she has some too. She loved saying that pray with her daddy and I !
my daughters first steps and her starting to talk, especially when she called me “momma”. omg, i cried like a baby, i was so excited when she starting waking. they grow up fast, enjoy it while it last.

Kourtney, I think you are clueless, whenever it comes to Scott. I think you are over the top in your responses. You actually shows a lot of stupudity. Your family is right on about Scott but you are stuck on stupid. You crack me up when you uses improper pronouns. Were you paying attention in school or were you busy trying to be glamous. I know every english teacher just shake their heads and for those who took english and learned the correct english are having fun laughing at you. I love Kloe and Kim. “you and I, him and me, etc.”are not the correct english for all sentences. You crack me up trying to be so proper and fashionable.

Jocylen, there are so many it’s hard for anyone to even read your post. It’s unfair to attack someone and their relationship when you only see (maybe) 10% of it. It would be easier for her to leave Scott than to stay with him so it speaks volumes about her character and love for her son that she has stuck with him when magazines are sold and ratings go up when there’s conflict and bad blood between the couple and family.
I love this my daughter is 10 months and she always stares at the tv when Mason is on. She loves him and tries to talk to the tv its adorable. Im 20 and have always wanted to be a mom now that i am its the best thing in the world im so glad u get to expirence it too. except for the baby daddy drama it sux so bad and i know that first hand. ur awesome Kourt!!

My dad and I used to play hand-slaps at night when he tucked me in (where you set your hands out and the other trys to tag them). We had some great daddy-daughter conversations over that nighttime tradition. I can’t wait to do it with my child if I ever have one.

K-I can relate to your thoughts regarding germs. Just one thing….It gets worse. Wait until he’s 2, doesn’t want to ride in the stroller and you need to use the ladies room. I’m grossed out every time and have to juggle peeing with making sure he doesn’t touch anything. Unfortunately he always touches something.
My favorite “firsts”: His reaction to me blowing bubbles and picking our first group of red tomatoes that we planted.

Doesn’t anyone notice the blatant product placement in this picture? Honestly, have any of you gone grocery shopping, thought is would be really cute to take your child’s photograph on his/her first shopping trip but first made sure each and every item in the cart was placed “just so” and the brand and product names were clearly identifiable? Sorry to be skeptical, but it is the first thing that caught my eye….after smiling at the adorable baby. I hope the money earned from the product placement is going into his college fund. :)

I don’t know if I have any favorite firsts but I like having my 2 year old daughter as a little sidekick. Whenever I want to do something, she’s always down. I don’t need any better excuse to go swing at the park! I’d also look like a creep blowing bubbles outside if I didn’t have her so that’s good.. ;)

As a mom, firsts are exciting. I also know parenthood can be overwhelming. I’m a nutritionist and couldn’t help but notice lots of food I’m sure an 8 month old isn’t eating… If you’re taking the baby to the store, as he gets older it’s a great opportunity to teach him about healthy foods. I’ll get off my soapbox but if you need any tips, I’m here!
As a mom of 2 I am so sick of people thinking they need to offer their advice, everyone needs to do what is right for them and of course the dorito’s are not for the baby, how stupid can people be…urghhh. A cute special moment I’m sure was not meant to attract scrutiny over nothing, let the proud mommy have her moment as I’m sure you all do when you post a nice pic of your kiddies to your facebook. I’m staying on my soapbox :)

Your son is amazingly cute!!! You can really tell that he’s armenian, the Kardashian genes are super strong! He’s gorgeous! I am a huge fan of yours and your sisters!! I never miss a show!
I have 2 children. My daughter, Halle, is 7 yrs. old and my son, Isaiah, is 4 yrs. old. There are so many firsts that I loved witnessing with both of my children but I would have to say that my favorites have been hearing them say “mama” and “I love you”. When you first hear them speak is so awesome.
I also wanted to share with you a personal story. My husband and I have been together for 15 years. We were high school sweethearts and we pretty much have grown up together. We are not perfect parents and we have struggled very much in raising our children. Parenting and marriage are the two hardest jobs that you can ever have, in my opinion. Despite the fact that we have struggled so much we have two very smart and beautiful children. We have made MANY mistakes and I hope that reading a little piece of my story can help you in any way! We have argued, screamed and even gotten physical with each other in front of our kids. I can tell you from experience that it’s the worst thing you can do for your baby, to fight or argue in front of him. Unfortunately, our daughter has developed a serious anxiety/eating disorder because of all the chaos she’s experienced. Her anxiety is now under control after therapy but she is only 7 so God only knows if it will come back. So it is up to my husband and I to keep our cool and maintain a calm chaos-free environment for our kids. I would never tell you to leave scott or that he is no good. Only YOU know what is best for you and your baby but know that fighting and arguing in front of children will change them FOREVER.

I completely agree! It does seem so overwhelming to take the baby and run errands that were once so simple. I have a 6 month old and went to the grocery store today. I was a little nervous thinking about the trip before leaving the house! Everything went great. It’s good to see I am not alone! Thanks!
you should get one of those fabric things- they fit over the shopping cart or a high chair in a restaurant. Then your baby doesnt have to touch the cart and they have pockets on the sides to keep his little toys in

That is one of the most pathetic thing I’ve read. The more I watch the Kardashians the less I seem to like it now. He’s 8 months old and you couldn’t be bothered with the hassle of a supermarket? Oh no germs and people..oh and imagine trying to put a capsule that clips onto the trolley on it, or carry him in a front pack. That’s what I had to do ALONE since my son was 7 weeks old because his daddy DIED. Didn’t have hundreds of thousands of dollars to hire someone to go to the grocery store so I didn’t have to deal with shopping with a baby. You need a huge wake up call. Try taking care of a child from newborn by yourself, every single minute of every day. No partners, no money to hire someone. Try that. Now that’s a “big task” compared to one shopping trip with a baby. Give me a break. And it digusts me wonderful fathers like my husband can’t be there for their kids, and Scott is lucky enough to be alive and seems to not be a terribly great father.
