Interview with Hollywood Life

A friend of mine at Hollywood Life interviewed me to ask about my favorite makeup products, so in case you missed it, I thought I’d post it here on my blog.

Here’s what’s in my makeup bag:

smashprimerSmashbox Photo Finish:

I started using this whenever I had a photo shoot and needed my makeup to last all day. I became addicted to the way it makes my makeup smooth on so perfectly, so now I use it every day.

p217905_heroMakeup Forever HD (High Definition) Foundation:

Whenever I get my makeup done, this is the one item I bring with me and ask the makeup artist if they want to use it. I swear I have turned a few makeup artists onto it after they tried it on me…it’s amazing!

lorac_doublefeatureLorac Double Feature Concealer/Highlighter: I love Lorac in general…the creator Carol Shaw is a family friend and makeup genius. This is probably my favorite product and Carol actually suggested that I get it. I use it as an everyday under eye concealer. There’s a wand on the other end of it that has a shimmery highlighter too! Lorac’s palettes are always the most wonderful colors, so I always buy them when they come out with new ones.

Dallas Throwback

I went to college at SMU for two years before I transferred to UofA.  I LOVE Dallas, and literally have not been back since I left!  I missed it soooo much! What a fabulous city. We went to Stanley Korchack, one of the most amazing department stores ever. We also got a snack at Palamino, where my mom and sisters threw my surprise 20th birthday party. Dinner was at Patrizios, an old favorite Italian spot with some family friends that we hadn’t seen in too long.

We went to a nightclub right next door to our hotel Jouele called Dolce. We had as much fun as we could considering we were there for less than 24 hours! I need to go back soon for longer!

Kim posted some pics from Dallas on her blog, so make sure you take a look at those too!
